Hey Everyone,
Making changes around the shop is never easy. So many things to do and so many things to miss. One of those things that we missed, thankfully pointed out by a very nice individual and I thank them very much, is the link for indie artists/authors to let us know about their work.
Here at Seymour’s we want to support those who take the time out of their lives to put their dreams and thoughts, blood, sweat, and tears into things that bring them joy with the hopes of spreading that joy to others. One of the hardest parts of doing any kind of art be it literary, visual, or auditory, is getting it in front of other people. For monetary gain or not, it really is life changing to see others with something you created. Being a writer myself, there is nothing like seeing someone else reading or enjoying something you’ve completed.
With that being said, I have returned the link to the top of the page. This link will open a google document for you. It is simple and one page. It asks only for information that you can give to allow us to get in touch with you and let us know a little bit about what you do. Not everything will be a great fit for our little shop here, but some things will be. There are of course monetary considerations and also logistics, but do not let that bother you. It doesn’t hurt to ask as we enjoy seeing everything that is out there and want to give everything a chance that we can. Problem is if we don’t know about it, we can’t have that chance.
